Alison MacRae-Miller RM
Ali (she/her/hers) is a Registered Midwife working with the team at Full Circle Perinatal Care to provide compassionate support to families in early pregnancy and to families experiencing perinatal loss.
With a background in History and Anthropology, including a master’s degree from the University of Victoria, Ali previously worked as a research manager supporting reconciliation efforts related to the legacies of residential school in Canada. She subsequently trained at the University of British Columbia as a midwife and practiced full scope midwifery in Victoria, providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to birthing families. Drawing on her passions for perinatal health, advocacy, and family-centered care, Ali joined Full Circle Perinatal Care to assist families navigating complex fertility and pregnancy journeys and is deeply committed to providing empathetic and sensitive care for families experiencing perinatal loss. In support of this work, Ali holds a Certificate in Perinatal Grief and Loss.
Ali was raised in Victoria, and then spent many years living and working in Vancouver before returning to the Island in 2019. She has been exceptionally grateful to return to the beauty of Vancouver Island, and to live and work on the traditional territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
