All our Physicians specialize in maternity and infant care. We aim to guide you through a healthy pregnancy, labour and delivery, and those early days of newborn care and postpartum health. Currently, we are accepting new Maternity patients, however we have a monthly cap and we do fill up. We follow maternity patients from the first trimester until 2 months postpartum.
Booking an appointment for maternity care
You do not require a referral. Please call our office to enquire about joining the Maternity Practice. Alternatively, you can self-refer through the Coastal Maternity self-referral. We look forward to meeting our new patients and learning about their health needs.
Prenatal and postpartum care
Prenatal and postpartum care is conducted at our office. We will book your first visit approximately 8 weeks from your last menstrual period and the second visit with the full physical around 12 weeks.

Hospital visits
In hospital, we share patient care with a large group of Victoria maternity physicians. This group is called Coastal Maternity Group. When you give birth or have an assessment on the maternity unit, you will meet one of the Coastal doctors. Records are shared between the hospital and our office to ensure continuity of care. On Call Maternity Services
The physicians at Full Circle family practice are part of a larger network of maternity physicians called the Coastal Maternity Care group. We take turns being “on-call” at Victoria General Hospital for our obstetrical patients and newborns. If you require a pregnancy-related hospital assessment, and when you give birth, you will be cared for by the Coastal doctor on call.
The Coastal Physician On Call can be paged with urgent maternity or newborn questions. Due to the unpredictable and acute nature of labour and delivery and hospital patient care, please leave a voicemail allowing up to two hours for a return call if your call isn’t answered right away. Our Physician On Call is on shift for 12 or 24 hours at the hospital dealing with urgent or emergent health concerns and should only be contacted for emergencies or urgent health questions.
