Lindsay Taylor MD CCFP

Dr. Taylor grew up in beautiful B.C. and completed her Medical Degree at UBC. After graduation, she moved to Fredericton, N.S. to complete her Family Medicine Residency and worked in and around Halifax for a few years. She enjoyed her time in the Maritimes, but the West Coast was in her heart, and she moved back to B.C. to grow her family. She settled in Squamish with her husband for five years, where she had a busy Family and Maternity practice. In 2018, her husband got a great job offer in Victoria, so they made the move to Vancouver Island.

She currently carries a full Family Practice with Obstetrics and does occasional Surgical Assisting. When she isn’t catching babies, she is usually with her noisy and rambunctious family. Her red mini van is packed with her husband, daughter, three sons, and a truly adorable dog. Dr. Taylor loves beaches, mountains, CBC radio, cooking, reading novels, and has a very discerning palate when it comes to coffee, chocolate, and craft beer.

Caitlin Harmon MD CCFP

Dr. Caitlin Harmon grew up on B.C.’s Sunshine Coast, spending her summers sailing with her family in the beautiful Gulf Islands. She earned her Bachelor of Science at UVic and fell in love with Victoria. She went on to earn her Medical Degree with the UBC Island Medical Program, graduating top of her class. During her Family Practice Residency, Dr. Harmon and her husband lived and travelled all over rural B.C. and the Gulf Islands, but beautiful Victoria was where they wanted to live and raise their three young children.

Dr. Harmon enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, as well as teaching as a Clinical Associate Professor in the UBC Faculty of Medicine. She specializes in Maternity and Infant Care and is passionate about Labour and Delivery.

Dr. Harmon continues to love the outdoors and some of her best days involve her stand-up paddle board, family, and neighbourhood beach. Rain or shine, she rides her bike to work, and she loves to get her sweat on at kickboxing at her local gym. Her favourite times outside of work are spent with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors while sailing, hiking, skiing, and travelling. She adores her role as mother to her three children and feels privileged to help her patients on their journey throughout motherhood.

Lorelei Johnson MD CCFP

Dr. Lorelei Johnson is a Family Physician with a special interest in maternity care and obstetrics as well as mental health. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Infection at the University of Alberta, worked for several years in cancer research, and then completed her medical training at the University of British Columbia. She has worked in the field of maternity, obstetrics and newborn care for many years, and delights in the privilege of helping families with this incredible life transition.

Currently managing a full scope family practice at Full Circle Family Practice, including maternity, obstetrics and newborn care, Dr. Johnson also provides regular medical-monitoring consultant services to the Victoria regional Eating Disorders Program, with the BC Ministry of Child and Family Development. In addition, she shares the role of Division Head for the Family Physician – Obstetrics group in Victoria at Victoria General Hospital.

Dr. Johnson has a passion for advocacy, mentorship and leadership, and is drawn to teams that provide multi-disciplinary, collaborative and patient-focused care. She feels privileged to be part of the innovative and dynamic team at Full Circle Family Practice.

Outside of work, you’ll find her curling, cycling, practicing yoga, enjoying movies, at the beach, and spending time with her family.

Resident Physicians

Full Circle Family Practice is part of the UBC Family Practice Preceptor Program. When you visit our clinic, you will often see a UBC Family Practice Medical Resident for your appointment. These residents are training to become Family Physicians and are working under the direct supervision of the Family Physicians at Full Circle Family Practice.

They have already obtained their Medical Degrees and have chosen to specialize in Family Medicine. Their training is crucial to the future of primary care in BC. We have a history of excellent patient feedback and experiences with our UBC Medical Residents, specifically their up-to-date medical expertise and positive patient rapport.

However, at Full Circle we want our patients to feel comfortable with their medical care and you can always request to see your regular Family Physician instead of the Medical Resident, or in addition to the resident at the end of the appointment. Just ask!

Locums

When your family physician is out of the office (on vacation, or working in another setting), she will often have a locum physician covering her practice. Locums are fully licensed physicians that work in a variety of settings and provide coverage to family doctors. They are an essential part of the team, allowing family doctors to take much-needed breaks as well as increasing office days and appointment access to our practices. Please know that we have great trust in any locum working at the clinic, and that they have access to your full chart in order to provide as much continuity of care as possible.
